Lonestar Social Services facilitates the short-term or permanent placement of children in the Texas foster care system. Our team works comprehensively with foster parents and adoptive families, making sure that they are fully prepared to raise a child.

Adoption Home Assessments
We offer adoption home assessment and inspection program to ensure that each foster child is adopted by a family that best meets his or her needs. Our team is composed of qualified professionals who are thorough and objective when working with families who wish to adopt. These people are trained to meet the highest quality standards in adoptive home assessments.
As most of our workers are adoptive parents themselves, we understand the emotional highs and lows that accompany the process of adoption. We are here to support you with our services that are available at competitive prices. Whether you are a couple or a single adult who wants to adopt a child, we can help you.
Home Safety Planning
There are many dangers in the home that are easy to overlook. To keep children safe, it is essential to recognize these dangers and take the proper precautions.
Our OSHA certified safety specialist can make recommendations for securing your home in preparation for foster care or adoption. We can also help you install safety products.
First Aid and CPR Training
The Lonestar Social Services CPR/First Aid Training Center offers Basic Life Support (BLS) courses in CPR and first aid to everyone who wishes to learn how to save a life.
Taught by certified instructors, are training programs are official American Heart Association courses. At the end of the program, participants will be issued an official American Heart Association completion card. Please submit registration below.

Behavioral Health Services
Therapy services include assessments, treatment planning and ongoing therapy services. Clinicians treat children and families in several areas including stress management, anxiety, depression, trauma and other issues.
Our targeted case management and skill enhancement services help families to identify natural supports and strengths to develop a plan to address the families needs and make lasting behavioral changes. All of our services are community-based, people-centered, and family-driven.
Psychiatric services are provided by board-certified psychiatrists who develop individualized treatment plans, provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and consultation services.

Heritage House Charter School
More than 400,000 youth are currently in foster care in the United States, many of whom experience significant obstacles in their lives, ranging from frequent transitions between homecare placements and schools to unmet physical and mental health needs.
Youth in foster care experience a number of common obstacles in accessing school choice: lack of transportation to remain in their school of origin, narrow definitions of sibling preference that leave out children in foster care, and insufficient information available to adults in their lives.
Heritage House Charter School provides a safe, inclusive place to learn, grow and thrive.

Education & Workforce Division
The education and workforce division supports clients in attaining their life goals through offering supported employment and education services including High School Equivalency Certification. Also providing support groups on health and safety, transportation, life decisions, responsibility, relationships both personal and social., parenting, financial management and other life skills training.
Lonestar Family Clinic
This is a nurse managed clinc in Pflugerville, TX.
Lonestar Family Clinic provides quality services for those who might not have access to the needed healthcare due to unavailability for insurance. All services are provided at no cost to those who qualify.

Heritage House RTC is here to put the children and their needs first. The environment, programming and staffing are always centered around the child. Here the children will grow in a supportive and structured environment leading to healthy ways in developing skills in self-care, self-awareness, self-discipline and responsibility for life choices all while building the skills necessary for independent living.
Heritage GRO offers treatment to children, teens, adults, and older adults who are struggling with challenges in life and help them to start down the healing path. All of our clients receive individualized evaluations and treatment from a compassionate staff of behavioral health professionals in a safe, serene, and nurturing environment. Reminders When Attending First Aid and CPR Classes
Anticipate being on your hands and knees most of the time—bending, standing, and lifting. For this reason, it is important to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
If you have any physical conditions that may prevent you from doing these activities, please tell the administrator during the registration. The CPR Program Coordinator will work to accommodate your needs within the stated course completion requirements.
